Mid LevelTesla is seeking a highly motivated Engineer to develop new processes and high-volume automation equipment supporting the Drive Unit Assembly team. This role involves leading the design, development, and optimization of automated manufacturing lines for drive units, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and output.

Responsibilities
Develop new highly automated manufacturing lines from concept to production
Drive equipment and process optimization to increase yield, throughput, and availability while reducing cost and lead-time
Manage installation, qualification, and ramp of manufacturing lines
Lead validation of production processes and automated inspection tools
Generate machine specifications, standards, and documentation
Qualification
Required
Automation equipment design and development experience
Manufacturing process specification and evaluation experience
Manufacturing data analysis skills
SolidWorks or other 3D CAD skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
