They are seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist I who will perform radiographic procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities
Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail
Responsible for performing technical procedures that may require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
Perform patient intake by collecting medical history and must be able to answer patient questions regarding the imaging procedure
Follow specific instructions from providers on what areas to image and guide patients through the imaging process safely and comfortably
Operate imaging equipment proficiently
Have a firm understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body
Demonstrate knowledge of proper imaging techniques in all patient populations
Confer with Providers on the results of imaging tests and collaborate to determine whether additional images are required
Qualification
Required
Completions of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree
ARRT Registration is required at hire or within 2 years of hire after sitting for registration within 6 months of hire
American Heart Association (BLS)
Preferred
Previous experience with routine diagnostic procedures in General Radiology
Previous experience in customer service/patient experience setting
