Responsibilities

Conduct market research and analysis to support various brokerage activities
Assist in the preparation of detailed reports and presentations for clients
Analyze financial models and real estate valuations
Support data collection and management efforts using both traditional and modern technologies
Participate in team meetings, providing insights and contributing to strategic discussions
Collaborate with various departments to understand the full scope of BKREA’s operations and services
Create detailed and accurate Opinions of Value (OVs) by conducting thorough market research and analyzing comparable sales
Use OVs to support negotiation strategies and provide clients with clear insights into the potential value of their land
Regularly analyze and interpret current market conditions, trends, and economic indicators that impact land sales
Utilize data and market insights to inform and adjust transaction strategies
Prepare market reports and updates to share with clients and the internal team, highlighting significant trends and opportunities
Schedule and coordinate property tours for prospective buyers, showcasing the property's features and potential
Lead tours, providing in-depth knowledge and answering any questions from attendees
Support development prospecting efforts by gathering detailed ownership information and compiling relevant building and ZFA (Zoning Floor Area) metrics
Assist in the preparation of pitch materials and OV proposals for land in Manhattan and other areas as requested by senior management

Required

Based in NYC and available to work in-office at least 4 days a week
Currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Highly Preferred: Active New York Salesperson License or currently in the process of acquiring the license
Familiarity with commercial real estate market trends is a plus
