Responsibilities
Will be deploying, configuring, and securing VMware products, including ESXi, vCenter
Configuring, and securing Windows and Active Directory
Performing patching and upgrades with vCenter, ESX Maintenance activities
Handling installation & troubleshooting of VMware ESXi Servers & vCenter
Resolving escalated tickets from internal customers
Linux or UNIX administration and automation duties
Setup and replication of Oracle dB
Qualification
Required
A Bachelors Degree in a related IT field is required
At least 12 years of overall IT experience
2 years experience with deploying, configuring, and securing VMware products, including ESXi, vCenter
2 years experience with configuring, and securing Windows and Active Directory
2 years experience with VMware product line - vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vRealize, NSX-T and other Infrastructure components
2 years experience with vCenter, ESX Maintenance activities. This includes patching and upgrades
2 years experience with Installation & Troubleshooting of VMware ESXi Servers & vCenter
1 year experience with Linux or UNIX administration and automation
1 year experience with Oracle dB setup and replication
Strong understanding of Windows server and desktop operating system
Experience with VMware/Citrix Experience, User profile management and Application Virtualization
Experience with scripting in PowerShell
Migration to AWS lift and shift
Strong knowledge of storage systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
