The Remas Staffing Company, LLC is seeking a Radiology Technologist at Stuart Family Health Center, where you will use the latest X-Ray equipment to obtain images for patient diagnosis and treatment. The role involves performing various technical procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and collaborating with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation to detect pathology (e.g., routine radiology examinations, motion-free exams, portable/bedside examinations, fluoroscopy and invasive exams, OR and ED procedures and bone density procedures)

Regulate and operate equipment

Review prep information with patients, explain the procedure and obtain written consent

Document pertinent clinical patient information, such as medical history and allergies

Demonstrate a calm and understanding approach to ease any fear or anxiety

Transport patients to and from the department/their room and contact nurses about patients who are connected to devices or monitors

Interact, communicate and collaborate with nursing caregivers to obtain signed consent forms, assist with exams and prep and determine the length of time the patient will be in the department

Check written orders from physicians before the procedure and document in the chart after the procedure
