Post Doctoral Fellow (Trainee)
Northwestern University is seeking a Post Doctoral Fellow to participate in an NSF-funded project investigating yeast prion elements. The role involves designing and conducting experiments, analyzing results, and training junior lab members while aiming to identify prion-linked differentially expressed genes.

Design, set-up, and conduct basic experiments
Analyze results from individual experiments, troubleshoot/improve protocols
Effectively communicate with PI and lab members
Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results
Train students and/or junior lab members
Draft manuscripts from the obtained data and complete their publication procedure
Qualification
Required
PhD in biological sciences
With 1st author-ed publication(s)
Knowledge in biochemistry and molecular genetics, and skills in molecular biology
