Vice President, Investment Grade Credit Desk Strategist - US Corporates
RBC is a leading bank that values progressive thinking and collaboration. They are seeking a Vice President, Investment Grade Credit Desk Strategist responsible for credit sector analysis of US Financials Corporates, providing timely intelligence to sales and trading teams and clients.

Responsibilities
Advise clients on credit developments and relative value opportunities on assigned sector coverage through written commentary, phone calls, meetings and presentations
Brief and educate colleagues in sales and trading regularly on key credit themes and developments across assigned sector coverage
Work closely with desk traders on risk positions and trading opportunities
Maintain and develop close relationships with colleagues in Debt Capital Markets, HY Desk, Equity Research, Rates, etc
Advise on aggregate IG desk positioning and provide input on risk positions, highlighting relative value opportunities as well as areas of concern
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Credit Research/Sector Analyst on the buy-side or sell-side
Experience and knowledge of Bank and Non-Bank Financials sectors. Knowledge of BDC sector a plus
Excellent communication and writing skills, ability to adapt presentation to a wide variety of audiences
Ability and willingness to operate and react quickly to market developments
Strong understanding of fixed income markets and bond valuations
Strong understanding of economics, business cycles, credit markets
Series 7 & 63 Required
Undergraduate Degree
Preferred
CFA designation and/or MBA a plus
