Responsibilities
Drive cross-functional programs and feature areas in Siri's Machine Learning and AI technologies across all Apple products
Partner with engineering management to lead projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery
Build strong collaborative relationships within the organization as well as cross-functionally
Manage conflicts and challenges along the way to ensure successful outcomes and delivery
Communicate clearly on status and risks
Qualification
Required
5+ years of related experience with a BS/MS, Computer Science / Engineering, or relevant industry experience
Proven experience driving machine learning initiatives in customer-facing or enterprise product environments with a focus on user impact
Experience and consistent track record leading and shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously
Experience driving and delivering critical project features that involve integration with multiple teams
Solid knowledge of software development practices
Ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous settings, identifying priorities and driving what matters
Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
Preferred
Familiarity or prior experience in any of the following areas is desirable: artificial intelligence, machine learning, and accuracy evaluation
Prior experience in hands-on software or model development is desired
Excellent collaboration skills, working together with different teams, and fostering trust
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Curiosity and passion for new technologies, and proven ability to quickly understand technical concepts
