Responsibilities

Assists with diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures, ensuring minimal risk to the patient and team members according to the departmental protocols for a Level 1 Trauma Center and DNV Designate Comprehensive Stroke facility

Functions as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance using aseptic technique

Requires detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of diagnostic and interventional radiology

Qualification

Cardiac Life SupportRadiology CertificationAnatomy KnowledgeCardiovascular TechnologyHealth Science Degree

Required

Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology

Graduate of accredited school of radiology

Associate degree or baccalaureate degree in a clinically related health science field

Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire

Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days of hire

RCES, RCIS, or ARRT certification within 6 months of hire
