Psychometric Rater (Oakland)
Irvine Clinical Research is a leader in the search for new treatments in neurology, psychiatry, and obesity medicine, with a focus on Alzheimer’s Disease. The Psychometric Rater will assess and evaluate older adults with memory concerns for clinical trials, conducting interviews and educating participants about the trials.

Responsibilities
Assess potential and returning study participants with psychological and neurological rating scales
Conduct clinical interviews to collect psychological/medical information and to effectively screen potential participants for appropriate research opportunities
Educate participants about the potential benefits and risks of our clinical trials through the informed consent process and outreach events
Communicate with investigators, coordinators, and study teams about participants
Assist with scientific initiatives, study operations, and participant enrollment as needed
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or higher in psychology, neuropsychology, counseling, mental health, social work (MSW), neuroscience, or related field
Practical experience working with older adults experiencing memory concerns, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), or Alzheimer's Disease (AD)
Proficiency in standardized neuropsychological test administration and clinical interviewing
Excellent professional communication skills in spoken and written English
Preferred
Experience with Psychometric Rater experience in clinical trials on Alzheimer's Disease with the Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR)
