2026 Firmwide Design Development Program - Summer Internship
JPMorgan Chase & Co. is a leading financial services firm dedicated to innovating and improving design and technology. They are seeking highly motivated User Experience Designers and Researchers for their 2026 Firmwide Design Development Program, where interns will learn and contribute to UX projects while being mentored by experienced professionals.

Responsibilities
Design and re-design product experiences under the guidance and direction of Experience Leads
In partnership with UX Researchers and Lead Designers, participate in user research to better understand user needs and behaviors, and usability testing to see how your solutions work for users
Explore different options through ideation and prototyping, landing on elegant and even unexpected solutions that satisfy requirements
Diagram the interactivity of the product, including user flows and wireframes
Build upon our Design System to detail design that brings our solutions to life
Begin incorporating Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices
Present work, and articulate design decisions, to Design Leads and your specific Product Team
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design) in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Engineering, Communications, etc.)
Expected graduation date of December 2026- June 2027
Digital portfolio demonstrating the ability to think from the perspective of the user, including the ability to communicate the following stages for Experience Design, Experience Research: Problem, Ideation, Testing, Solution, Impact and Reflection
Preferred
Deliver quality work on time
Familiarity with user-centered design approaches
Proficiency in Interaction Design and Visual/UI Design or Information Architecture
Experience with user-centered design practices
Developing skills in User Research, UX Writing, and Prototyping
Understanding Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices
Basic communication and presentation skills, including explaining design decisions
