Responsibilities

Applying prescribed methods to complete limited and specific portions of broader assignments under the direction of an experienced engineer
Performing water and wastewater plant design calculations, plan preparation, specifications, and quantity take-offs
Adjusting and correlating data to ensure accuracy and consistency across project tasks
Recognizing discrepancies in results and following operations through a series of detailed steps or processes
Exercising limited judgment in making preliminary method selections and adopting alternatives
Collaborating with team members to support project deadlines and deliverables

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
Certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required
2+ years of post-graduate experience in detailed civil design of land development water and wastewater facilities including sanitary lift stations, water plants, and wastewater treatment plants, or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively within a collaborative team environment

Preferred

Experience using AutoCAD for detailed civil design of land development water and wastewater facilities
Familiarity with Dallas-area agency approval processes
