The role involves configuring and supporting network equipment, as well as working with VoIP technologies and ensuring optimal voice quality metrics.

Responsibilities
Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of the current network
Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP
Wireless Design, Configuration
Experience in VoIP engineering or telecommunications
Proficient experience with SIP, RTP, and VoIP protocols
Experience with VoIP platforms such as Cisco Call Manager
Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, NAT, and QoS principles
Understanding how to analyze and optimize voice quality metrics
Advanced knowledge of EIGRP, STP, BGP, VPC, mLACP, MLag, VRF, IPv4 subnetting, VSS, IGMP, PIM, Anycast-RP, MSDP, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, PEAP-MSCHAPv2, TACACS+, SYSLOG, Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS, Cisco EVPN
Working Knowledge of Cisco DNA Center
Experience with cloud-based VoIP solutions and Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)
Working experiences related to VoIP, including encryption and firewall configurations
Expertise in VoIP technologies, including but not limited to SIP, H.323, and VoLTE
Experience with network monitoring tools and VoIP performance analyzers
Knowledge of telephony hardware, such as IP phones and gateways
Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associated (CCNA-Collaboration and/or Enterprise) or similar
Qualification
Required
8 years: Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of the current network
