Teach graduate courses within the MA in Applied Policy Analysis program

Maintain a Canvas site for course resources

Engage students from diverse backgrounds in learning about data analytics

Introduce students to core concepts, methods, and tools used in data analytics

Provide hands-on experience working with real-world data

Qualification

Required

A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Political Science, or other social sciences, with strong quantitative method training

Demonstrated ability to use at least one major data tool like R or Python

At least one year of experience teaching at the college level in data analysis, research methods, or quantitative reasoning

Comfortable working with students from diverse disciplinary and professional backgrounds, including those without strong math or coding foundations

Preferred

A Ph.D., J.D., or other terminal degree in a relevant field, such as Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Political Science, or other social sciences, with strong quantitative method training

Experience teaching data analysis at the graduate level in person and/or online

Experience teaching graduate-level courses in data analysis, research methods, or quantitative reasoning

Ability to teach diverse learners (e.g., students with policy, nonprofit, or humanities backgrounds) and guide students through individual projects and team-based work
