Responsibilities
Design and build scalable systems to responsibly access and process available information from the web
Optimize the data processing architecture to ensure performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness
Implement robust systems to process content and extract meaning
Develop data pipelines and infrastructure to deploy ML models which intelligently classify petabyte-scale datasets
Work closely with scientists and other engineers to rapidly prototype and deploy new algorithms
Write high quality, well-tested production code in languages like Python, spark, Java, Scala
Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, in order to advance what’s possible in large-scale information processing
Qualification
Required
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
