Responsibilities

Develop and optimize the performance of complex neural net models on custom-built AWS hardware
Architect and implement business-critical features for the ML compiler
Publish cutting-edge research in the field of machine learning and AI accelerators
Mentor a team of experienced engineers
Collaborate with AWS ML services teams on various projects
Be involved in pre-silicon design and bring new products/features to market

Required

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
