Responsibilities

Manage all phases of litigation including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep across a diverse docket—especially personal injury and insurance defense
Conduct in-depth legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and discovery-related documents
Prepare and defend clients in depositions; take fact and expert witness depositions with strategic focus
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on trial prep, site investigations, and evidentiary hearings

Qualification

California Bar licenseLitigation experienceLegal writingLegal research toolsCase management platformsAnalytical skillsCommunication skillsTeam player

Required

Active California Bar license, in good standing
Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, ideally including insurance defense or personal injury matters
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
Proficient in legal research tools and case management platforms (e.g., NetDocuments, Centerbase)
Ability to prioritize multiple matters independently while remaining a strong team player

Preferred

Background in complex litigation or other areas such as corporate or construction law
Hands-on trial experience or courtroom advocacy background
Enthusiasm for mentorship, professional development, and long-term firm growth
