Responsibilities

Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging including under the general direction of a physician, fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity insuring the principles of ALARA are achieved

Participates in the department quality improvement processes insuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained

Depending on departmental business needs, this position will support department‘s patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient in-take, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice

Required

High School diploma, Certificate, GED, Training, or Experience

Basic Life Support Certification

Certified Radiologic Technologist

ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography

Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology

Less than 1 year of experience

Preferred

Six months experience in an acute care setting

ARRT Radiography certified or eligible

Competent in skills such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration
