The role involves designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to optimize asset management processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications with a focus on HAM and SAM modules
Customize workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts using JavaScript and ServiceNow Studio
Implement and configure HAM/SAM modules to support lifecycle management of hardware and software assets
Ensure alignment with ITIL and asset management best practices
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using SCCM, REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other protocols
Develop and maintain APIs and data exchange mechanisms
Track and manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement
Ensure software license compliance and optimize asset utilization
Create dashboards and reports to provide insights into asset inventory, compliance, and usage
Support audits and data accuracy initiatives
Work closely with IT operations, procurement, and compliance teams
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Qualification
Required
5+ years of ServiceNow development experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with HAM/SAM modules
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS
Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub
Strong understanding of IT Asset Management processes
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM/SAM (preferred)
Experience with advanced HAM/SAM configurations
Familiarity with ITOM, CMDB, and Service Catalog
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
