Responsibilities
Coordinating and managing the assessment and treatment of mental illnesses
Providing thorough behavioral health services including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
Completing both forensic assessments and clinical duties
Developing and implementing individual treatment plans that specify type, frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy
Treating and counseling clients using a variety of treatment methods to intervene and assist in behavior modification
Writing reports on clients and evaluating the effectiveness of counseling or other treatments, modifying plans and diagnoses as necessary
Qualification
Required
D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or Forensic Psychology
Currently a licensed Psychologist for the State of Missouri or license eligible
Psychiatric Forensic experience (Substitutions may be allowed)
Certification as a Forensic Psychology Examiner (CFE) for the Department of Mental Health or willing to obtain certification
