The Universities of Wisconsin is seeking a Student Involvement Office Assistant to support administrative tasks and assist student organizations. This role contributes to program planning, marketing, and event staffing, helping students engage in student-led programs and organizations.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and community members
Manage the Student Involvement email account, ensuring timely and courteous responses
Promote campus engagement through Student Involvement social media, 'Jackets Connect, and campus advertising
Maintain and update organization records in 'Jackets Connect
Process equipment requests (e.g., sandwich boards, button maker, popcorn machine)
Handle digital signage requests for the campus network
Assist with department events like 'Jacket Fest and the Yellowjacket Student Excellence Awards
Coordinate and schedule donors for Memorial Blood Center drives held each semester
Represent the department at campus events such as Preview Days, SOAR, and WoW
Collaborate with Student Involvement and YAC staff on various projects and programs
Build and maintain positive working relationships with student organizations and campus departments
Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and training (including Student Affairs-sponsored events)
Perform other duties as needed

Required

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn

Preferred

Experience with campus involvement (e.g., student organizations)
Program planning and/or marketing experience
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including Outlook and Excel
