Responsibilities
Must be able to serve patients and their families by being courteous
Performs procedures in a prompt and courteous manner while providing high quality images for interpretation
Provides excellent communication skills with patient, patient families, physicians and other team members
Exhibits knowledge regarding the needs of neo-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patients
Promotes a positive image of the Radiology department and the hospital
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
Clinical rotation through a hospital setting during training
Must be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and be in good standing
CPR training
Good communication skills to interact with patients and other employees
Promotes a positive image of the hospital at all times
Demonstrates a 'Team Player' attitude and have the ability to handle stressful situations properly
Walking and standing throughout shift
Push and pull stretchers and/or wheelchairs occupied with patients
Lifts patients daily with assistance
Lifts and carries films, cassettes, chemicals and supplies
May experience stressful workshifts
