Responsibilities
Follows system-wide standards and fulfills assigned duties
Trains staff and student technologists
Operates specialized equipment (e.g., O.R., fluoro) and performs EKGs/lab draws as needed
Works independently, including off-shifts, on-call, and satellite coverage; communicates with leads and management
Monitors quality control and delivers patient care using current imaging protocols
Supports system-wide standardization initiatives
Performs core duties of a Diagnostic Tech I
Assists with QA, regulatory testing, and research efforts
Collaborates with Radiologists on imaging protocols
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology
2 years Diagnostic experience required
Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion
ARRT Certificate
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
ARRT certified in Radiography
CPR or BLS Required
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
Act 33 with renewal
Act 34 with renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
