Responsibilities

Maintain and optimize the Debian live boot operating system and build server for mission-critical cyber operations

Develop automation scripts using Bash or Python to enhance system maintenance and efficiency

Collaborate with team members and communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders

Engage in continuous professional development through cyber events, training, and certification courses

Apply cyber mission knowledge and experience to support national security objectives and department programs

Required

Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with polygraph

Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Engineering, or other related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training and work/military experience

3-6 years combined years of experience from the following bullets: Strong proficiency with Linux systems/command line, Demonstrated knowledge of the Debian Operating System and apt packaging, Experience with Linux distro maintenance, Knowledge of apt rep maintenance, Knowledge of scripting for automation (Bash or Python)

Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills; be able to work in a high-impact, busy office and work well in an open, collaborative environment

Ability to interact and communicate with individual from diverse background and cultures, and to convey technical information to non-technical individuals

Preferred

Experience with server maintenance/systems administration

Experience with open source Linux forensics tools

Experience with nginx redirection

Experience with CI/CD automation (GitLab or Atlassian)

Knowledge of Linux build systems, make files, configuration for packages

Experience with cyber mission
