Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is a flagship casino resort owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. They are seeking an HVAC Engineer II who will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures

Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books

Conducts walk-through inspections; changes belts, filters, adjusts air volume dampers, checks gauges, coils, drain lines, bleeds gas lines, resets compressors, check unit sensors, relocates ductwork and troubleshoots to locate sources and cause of malfunction

Assists with estimating parts, supplies, equipment and labor hours needed to complete assigned repairs and monitors computer for malfunctions

Maintains quality of air, air flow and temperature at on and off-site facilities; adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through system

Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment

Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate

Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately

Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times

Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility

Performs all other related and compatible/non-compatible duties as assigned
