Responsibilities
Work with marketing and technical staff to develop proposal sections, technical approaches and scopes of work
Participate in client management for assigned key clients
Drive/travel to client meetings, field work, and site inspections
Identify and market additional business opportunities with key clients
Support business development by seeking new work, attending networking events, presenting at various venues, etc
Assist the Department Director with Department and Business initiatives
Facilitate the necessary inter-disciplinary coordination inside and outside the Department required to execute projects
Execute the design to the appropriate level of detail in a manner that minimizes risk to the firm
Operate as a client service manager to maintain existing relationships and establish new ones
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university
10-14 years of experience serving municipal clients involving planning, consulting, design, and construction services for a wide variety of services including water and wastewater planning and design
Demonstrated experience in successful project management, client interaction, and staff development
Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
PE License required
Preferred
Proficiency in stormwater design is a plus, but not required
Client management experience preferred
