As an Equipment Engineer II, you will improve equipment operation and efficiency, enhance design for productivity, and identify root causes of equipment breakdowns.

Responsibilities
Analyze Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for breakdown frequency and uptime for daily production
Report on OEE (Micro-stop, Breakdown Maintenance (BM), and Yield)
Design/review production work orders based on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
Monitor OEE and Line of Balance (LOB) after improvements are made
Install/modify/analyze/repair/test new tools/machines/equipment and technology to line (i.e. installation of production equipment such as winder, assembly, formation, etc.)
Collaborate with related departments to improve process quality and conduct equipment modification and improvement activities
Manage plans for daily maintenance activities
Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position
Maintain cleanliness at worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years in engineering equipment experience in production/plant environment
Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering or related field required
Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a period of up to 12 hours: Safety glasses, Steel-toed shoes
Must be able to perform the following over the course of up to 12 hours per day: Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds on occasion, Stoop, twist, bend, Reach overhead, Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods
Preferred
PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience * Preferred but not required
Six Sigma certification * Preferred but not required
DOE (Design of experiments) * Preferred but not required
CAD (Computer-aided design) and coding * Preferred but not required
