Regional Sales Manager - Telecom Infrastructure
Blue Signal Search is a fast-growing manufacturer of fiber-optic connectivity and enclosure solutions, seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across the Midwest/Central United States. The role involves building strategic partnerships, executing territory business plans, and collaborating with various teams to influence product direction and market strategy.
Responsibilities
Jump start new revenue streams by converting your existing telecom and broadband relationships into strategic partnerships within your first 90 days
Shape and execute a territory business plan across carriers, utilities, ISPs, distributors, and rep firms to exceed quarterly growth targets
Partner with distribution and manufacturers’ rep networks to secure preferred-vendor status and accelerate market share
Represent the company at four to six marquee industry events each year, managing pre-show planning, on-site engagement, and post-show follow-up
Travel 40–50 percent (typically two to three days per week) for customer visits, ride-alongs, and product demonstrations
Capture real-time market feedback and collaborate with product and customer-success teams to influence roadmaps, service levels, and pricing
Qualification
Required
5+ years of successful sales experience within telecom, broadband, or utility infrastructure
Demonstrated track record of quickly onboarding key accounts and delivering rapid revenue growth
Extensive network of decision-makers across carriers, contractors, and distribution channels
Proven success managing channel partners, trade-show strategies, and complex sales cycles
Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Preferred
Background selling fiber-optic cable, closures, cabinets, or related outside-plant solutions
Experience with value-added distribution and manufacturers' rep networks
Understanding of utility or telecom construction procurement practices
