Responsibilities
Provides leadership and timely resolutions during major outages, and ensures all redundant paths are working and/or break glass solutions are deployed
Provides proactive monitoring and system integrity checks – pre-event and during events
Provides development of EOL strategy, upgrade design path and integration plan in line with capital refresh cycle and a/v engineering strategy
Works as a single point of contact for all network changes and patches, and partners with network engineers and a/v engineering on all outages and resolution
Drives proactive monitoring of all critical systems
Works with head of event production, head of virtual production and conference center operations manager(s) to ensure event readiness
Develop, publish and maintain comprehensive operational SOP documents
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of deployment and/ or operational experience with SMPTE 2110 ( Audio, Video, Data Over IP )
Providius – Media Analysis, Network Telemetry and Cyber Security tool
Deep knowledge of advanced and practical broadcast and ProAV signal flows and processing
Deep knowledge of spine and leaf network topology (Arista DCS-Series, CCS-Series, Media Control Service [MCS] & CloudVision), Core understanding of network protocols, network services and how they relate to a broadcast IP Media network
Preferred
Deep knowledge of Immersive Design Studio's, CANVAS System. A live event experience media server system with Zoom integration, and deep knowledge of Broadcast Control Systems, notably EVS, Cerebrum software
Deep knowledge of Ross video switching ecosystem. Ultrix Carbonite & xPression , and advanced knowledge of ProAV digital audio mixers, DSP's. Q-Sys
Deep knowledge with a/v & broadcast system design and integration, real estate / construction principles
Deep knowledge of RF distributed technology and Shure Axient systems
