Responsibilities

Review and vet shop and contract drawings for constructability and alignment
Coordinate with in-house detailers to ensure timely and accurate drawing submissions
Conduct drawing reviews (50% of your time) to confirm all elements align with contract requirements
Vet and support change order requests (15%) ensuring gaps are identified and resolved
Collaborate with production teams and erection crews to monitor progress
Conduct periodic site visits to evaluate project flow and troubleshoot in-field issues
Manage 4–5 projects concurrently while maintaining a focus on quality, timeline, and budget
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes

Required

Senior Manager/Supervisor experience
Detail-oriented and technically proficient
Ability to oversee multiple structural steel fabrication projects averaging $1.5M–$3M each
Experience in reviewing drawings and coordinating with internal teams and external partners
Ability to conduct periodic site visits to evaluate project flow and troubleshoot in-field issues
Ability to manage 4–5 projects concurrently while maintaining a focus on quality, timeline, and budget
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes

Preferred

3+ years of structural steel project management experience
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
Strong knowledge of coordination between fabrication, erection, and field operations
Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and Airtable
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Architecture (preferred but not required)
