Senior Account Manager
Newfront is building the modern insurance experience, focusing on creating a client-centered approach in the insurance industry. The Senior Account Manager will engage with healthcare carriers and clients, managing operational relationships and ensuring smooth service delivery while collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
Own and manage operational relationships with carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
Lead and facilitate monthly operations meetings at the program level, setting operational timelines, communicating expectations, and ensuring accountability from TPAs and carriers
Address and resolve client matters, including escalated and complex issues, by coordinating with appropriate parties for resolution
Provide support to the team during high-demand periods, particularly during the sales and renewal seasons
Oversee the successful implementation of new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and integration into existing processes
Manage client renewal cycles, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed accurately and within set deadlines
Maintain inventory documentation to support the Agency Management System, ensuring records are up-to-date and accessible
Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager during the annual web content audit to ensure accurate and relevant information is available
Own and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders for bi-weekly client reporting. These reports include overall highlights, operational updates, sales updates, and marketing updates
Drive monthly stewardship meetings and reporting for clients and key stakeholders
Stay informed of regulatory and industry changes and proactively manage any impacts on clients or new business opportunities
Provide coaching and training to team members as needed to enhance skills and improve performance
Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8+ years of employee benefits experience
Exceptional communication skills: written, public speaking and presentation preparation
Exceptional telephone etiquette and customer service skills, diplomacy, professionalism and tact
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and its complex features
Ability to be resourceful, take initiative, solve problems, offer solutions and make process improvements
Works well with others in a fast paced environment and is responsive to co-workers and colleagues. Ability to train, delegate, provide oversight and give feedback
Be adaptable, flexible, and proactive in addressing issues and client needs
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
Ability to learn, adopt and train use of technology systems and software applications
Exceptional multi-tasking abilities with a proven track record of adapting to shifting priorities and meeting tight deadlines
Proficient in strategic project planning with advanced time management skills for long-term initiatives
Proven ability to build strong relationships and establish trust with key stakeholders
Washington State Life and Health License (must have or acquire within three months of employment)
