Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician
Cook Children's Health Care System is offering an exciting opportunity for a Neurodevelopmental or Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join their Jane and John Justin Institute for Mind Health. The role involves collaboration with a team of specialists to provide care for patients with developmental and behavioral needs, as well as opportunities for clinical research and teaching.

Responsibilities
Opportunity to develop subspecialty clinical interests related to (neuro)developmental behavioral pediatrics, particularly for patients within existing programs of excellence such as neonatal follow up, epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, and complex neurogenetic disorders
Enjoy strong interdisciplinary collaboration and support from related specialties within the Mind Institute, as well as collaboration and medical oversight of special education and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) at the Cook Child Study Center
New innovative clinic space that facilitates the group’s collaborative care as part of the Mind Institute at Cook Children’s
Clinical research and teaching, while not required, are encouraged in your areas of interest
Qualification
Required
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required
American Heart Association BLS
Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date)
Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics
Board certified/Board Eligible in specialty area
