Responsibilities

Manage device lifecycle management, including imaging, deploying, and maintaining end-user computers
Administration and support of the college’s server environment
Management of user access and permissions in Active Directory and Grouper
Providing advanced technical support for issues escalated beyond the CoB ITS Help Desk
Lead annual hardware refresh projects
Support one-off device purchases
Ensure the stability and security of server infrastructure
Perform access control tasks for college and university-wide solutions

Required

Associate's degree or equivalent education/experience and experience providing technology support
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of computer and server administration
Experience working in Active Directory

Preferred

Experience providing IT support in an academic setting and managing technology projects
Previous experience of supervising others in a technology setting
Experience with client management tools such as SCCM, JAMF, Intune, or similar tools
Experience working with third-party vendors
Experience working in a ticketing system
Demonstrated ability to lead a project or team effectively
Experience working with macOS and Windows computers
