Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters, with a focus on healthcare law, managed care litigation, and ERISA matters
Draft and argue motions in state and federal courts
Oversee the discovery process and document review
Develop case strategy and collaborate with partners on litigation matters
Handle client communications and build long-term client relationships
Court appearances throughout Connecticut, New York City, and Long Island
Assist with family and divorce law matters as needed
Qualification
Required
4-6 years of litigation experience (candidates with more or less experience will be considered if they are the right fit)
Admission to both NY and CT bars is required, but candidates eligible for admission will be considered with a probationary period to obtain admission
Strong research, writing, and legal analysis skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Pro, and legal research platforms (Lexis/Westlaw)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
Experience or interest in managed care, healthcare law, and ERISA preferred
