The Carlstar Group is seeking a mid-level Maintenance Technician who specializes in electrical and hydraulic systems. The role involves performing preventive and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of various machinery within the distribution center.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on conveyors, forklifts, dock doors, and more
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (motors, sensors, relays, control panels)
Diagnose and maintain hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders)
Keep detailed records in our CMMS system
Ensure all work orders are completed accurately and on time
Hold external contractors accountable for quality, safety, and timely completion of work
Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimize downtime
Work closely with operations and safety teams to keep everything running smooth

Required

Age of 18 or older
3–5 years of industrial or warehouse maintenance experience
Strong skills in electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
Comfortable with tools, meters, and diagnostic gear
High school diploma or GED
Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
