Responsibilities
Will be responsible for the management of the complete design of structures projects
Will work in a fast-paced environment with longstanding, trusted clients, that require on-site investigations, bridge load ratings and coordination
Will manage production of design calculations and construction drawings
Will review contractor submittals and coordinate with inspection subconsultants during construction
Will participate in business development activities
Will be responsible for project budgets and schedules
As project manager, will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers and subconsultants
Will assist in training and supervising less experienced engineers and designers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas, or able and willing to obtain a Texas PE License within 6 months of start date
A minimum of 5 to 15 years of experience in Bridge / Structural Design
Experience managing structural design and plan production
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients
Preferred
Master's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus
