They are seeking Provisional Employees as Lab Analysts for part-time positions to perform various analytical tests on materials and products while undergoing structured training.

Responsibilities

Applicants must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Perform a variety of analytical testing of raw materials, in-process and final product samples

Simultaneously operate a variety of analytical instruments to perform sample tests

Use volumetric glassware, balances and dispensing devices to prepare samples for analysis

The individual will be trained to perform the responsibilities of the job through completion of an on-site structured training program

Work scheduling will be by assignment on a weekly basis to cover a regularly scheduled shift, but participants must also be willing to work on a call-in basis with notice as short as 8 hours in advance

Required

High School Diploma or GED is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to perform all of the essential elements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry is preferred

Prior experience in a laboratory environment or advanced (post-high school) study in Chemistry or science is preferred

Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is preferred
