Ardurra is seeking a Transportation Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will support a variety of transportation and civil engineering projects, performing design engineering tasks and contributing to project design through independent judgment and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Lay out full plan designs, plan details and outlines, identifies quantities of materials, cost estimates, and performs calculations for a detailed segment of a project
Participate in the preparation of technical specifications for review and approval
Prepares technical reports
Performs field tests & measurements, collects field data, as necessary
Provides assistance and support to proposal teams or proposal managers
Preliminary supervisory responsibilities to Design Engineers

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college
3+ years of related experience in engineering, and design
New Mexico PE (Professional Engineer) license
Local knowledge of agency requirements
Experience preparing final design plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D drafting and design
Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivating, team-oriented work practices, strong analysis and organizational skills
