They are seeking an experienced Product Counsel to provide legal advice on consumer protection, AI, biometrics, privacy, and financial regulations, while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Ship product: Serve as key legal partner for various product and engineering teams and projects, advising throughout the full product lifecycle

Mitigate risk: Identify, analyze, and mitigate product, regulatory, privacy, and online safety risks across jurisdictions

Build process: Implement creative legal strategies and scalable processes for risk management, and help advance AI and cryptocurrency policy positions

Pitch in: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and advisors on US and international laws; draft terms of use and product policies; support go-to-market strategies

Required

5+ years of experience in product counsel roles within the financial services or technology sectors

Demonstrated knowledge of the law relating to several of: financial services, blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, privacy, biometrics, online safety, marketing, and/or consumer protection

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Proven project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

A proactive and collaborative team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor

US Candidates: Juris Doctor from a top tier law school

Membership in at least one U.S. state bar
