Responsibilities

Lead the land surveying team, provide resource management, resolve complex technical problems, coach, train, and mentor land surveying staff members, and work collaboratively with all team members on all aspects of project execution

Establish, promote, and ensure quality on all project and work performed by group staff

Promote a culture of safety among the survey staff members

Develop proposals or contracts that ensure the contract scope is adequate for the project, provide the desired level of profitability, and ensure that the project schedule is viable

Understand business initiatives and concerns of current and prospective clients to recognize and promote new opportunities and cross-sell other services provided by the firm

Assist in the development of short-term and long-term strategic market sector plans

Develop and foster client relations to perpetuate long term relationships

Responsible for the profitable operation of the Tampa/Orlando surveying group

Licensed Professional Land SurveyorGeomaticsLand Surveying experienceClient relationship managementProject executionTeam leadership

Required

Must be a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Florida

2-5 years years of office/field experience in Land Surveying

Highly motivated to develop and grow the land surveying sector within the region

Show the ability to work within a multi-discipline engineering firm for many clients with differing project deliverables standards

Demonstrate the ability to lead a team of surveying professionals

Demonstrate ability to independently manage and grow key client relationships

Possess the technical abilities required to lead and advise the surveying project team through project execution and delivery

Preferred

Bachelors in Geomatics preferred
