Equine Intern Veterinarian 2026/2027

The internship program at WECH is designed to provide graduate veterinarians knowledge and experience that will prepare them for clinical practice or a residency program.

Responsibilities
Interns rotate between hospital and ambulatory services
Interns are responsible for management of in-hospital cases, anesthesia for emergency cases, participation in ambulatory cases and emergency duty
The interns assume increasing case management, client communication, and solo ambulatory responsibilities throughout the year
Qualification
Required
Graduate from an AVMA accredited program
Acquire a valid Wisconsin veterinary license
Have a valid driver's license
