DigiFlight, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Specialist to serve as the direct point of contact for specific accounts related to contract award and modification processing. The role involves drafting contract language, monitoring contract compliance, and administering contract activities from proposal to close.

Responsibilities

Serves as direct point of contact for specific accounts for contract award and modification processing and execution with Primes/Subcontractors/Customers

Drafting contract language independently for partnership agreements to include but not limited to subcontracts, teaming and nondisclosure agreements

Reviews and submits monthly status/spend reports, federal man hour reports/cost reports

Monitors and assesses the allocation of resources and contract funding for contract compliance to identify areas of improvement and ensures contract compliance through collaboration with project controls and accounting

Completing and updating representations and certifications on behalf of the company as needed

Administers activities associated with contracts from the proposal phase through contract close; reviewing contract terms and conditions, communicating contract requirements to the organization; managing contract changes and monitoring performance to meet company objectives and ensure efficient allocation of resources

Experience with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and General Service Administration (GSA) type contracts

Perform other contract-related duties as assigned

Active Secret clearance and eligible to obtain TS (SCI)

U.S. Citizenship required

Bachelor's degree

3 or more years of Federal Government Contracting Experience

Working intermediate knowledge and experience in MS Excel

Experience with FAR and DFAR regulations

Knowledge of Federal Government Contracting

Working knowledge of Excel

FAR and DFAR regulations

Preferred

Government and Commercial contract law and regulation; Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR; Export Control Regulations; International and Foreign Military Sales; Contract analysis, interpretation, and compliance; Defense and high technology industries

Experience with Deltek CostPoint

Local to Huntsville, AL or Columbia, MD w/occasional travel to Huntsville required
