Quality Control Inspector - Steel
Lexicon, Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector to join their team and contribute to their success in building America. This role involves ensuring quality standards in fabrication jobs and providing feedback on project requirements while maintaining safety protocols.

Responsibilities
Inspects all fabrication jobs to maintain the quality levels of work produced in accordance with applicable codes, standards, contract documents, and company QC procedures
Prepares detailed and thorough daily inspection reports
Monitor records on all shop welders with their level of certification and monitor daily rod use
Assist in setting up, monitor and maintain welding procedures, bolting procedures and painting procedures required for projects
Provide feedback on questions related to quality and project requirements from shop employees
The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required
Qualification
Required
Previous fitting and welding experience is required
5 years of experience in a steel fabrication shop environment
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings and pass an inspector test
Must have excellent mathematical skills
High School or equivalent degree required
The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required
Preferred
AWS certified welding inspector
ASNT level-II certification
SSPC/NACE certification
