Responsibilities

Performs direct oversight of Applicant or Contractor installed facilities limited to plastic distribution systems and smaller underground projects to ensure compliance with job drawings and specifications; and company standards and specifications over the entire Company territory

Experience and certifications and Operator Qualifications (OQ) dictate the varying level of placement, but we are seeking a level of inspector meeting stated minimum requirements, OQ evaluation and documentation of certifications

Position requires independence, professionalism, communication skills and the ability to work objectively in a construction team environment

Obtain and maintain PG-E required Operator Qualifications

Exercise Stop Work Authority (if unsafe work conditions exist)

Resides in Northern California or willing to relocate

Preferred

Distribution and plastic pipe/fusion experience desired

Knowledge of and familiarity with ASME B31.8
