VP of Sales -Software (SaaS)- Commercial, CRE & Small Business Lending Platform

Cync Software is on a mission to build a lending platform designed to improve access to credit while reducing the risk and costs of lending. They are seeking a Vice President of Sales responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities with fintech organizations and large financial institutions, developing sales strategies, and managing the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with Cync Sales' business objectives and target markets within the banking, software, SaaS, and fintech sectors. Lead, inspire, and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and training to ensure they consistently meet or exceed sales targets
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the banking, software, SaaS, and fintech sectors, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities, and adjust sales strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge
Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, upselling to existing clients, and ensuring the team achieves or surpasses sales quotas
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of the sales team and individual sales representatives
Provide accurate sales forecasts to inform business planning and resource allocation
Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and address client needs effectively

Required

10+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on strategic consulting and custom development services in the financial services industry
Hands on experience working with fintech organizations and financial institutions
Strong track record of success in closing new business opportunities including strong six and seven figure deals, as well as winning business from existing clients
Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies and tracking their success
Experience managing sales pipelines in Salesforce and other necessary CRM tools
Experience identifying decision-makers and building and maintaining relationships with prospects and clients
Trusted by clients as a source for ongoing financial services strategic expertise
Ability to participate beyond the sales cycle and help ensure stellar execution of projects and client references
Ability to actively participate in seeking ways to evolve the capabilities of the practice
Ability to thrive in an environment that values entrepreneurial thinking
Goal oriented, thrives on exceeding both targets and client expectations
