Responsibilities
Join the Wage and Hour Litigation team to take on important client-facing work
Litigate wage and hour class and/or collective action claims under the Colorado Wage Act and Fair Labor Standards Act
Interpret Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division regulations, rules and interpretative guidance materials
Draft and respond to initial pleadings and discovery
Draft and argue motions, including motions to decertify a conditional class
Take and defend depositions
Qualification
Required
4 or more years of experience in wage and hour litigation
Extensive experience litigating wage and hour class and/or collective action claims under the Colorado Wage Act and Fair Labor Standards Act
Experience interpreting Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division regulations, rules and interpretative guidance materials
Experience and proficiency drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery
Experience drafting and arguing motions, including motions to decertify a conditional class
Experience taking and defending depositions
Excellent academic credentials
Strong writing and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Admission to the Colorado Bar
JD from an ABA accredited law school
