Responsibilities

Review, propound and respond to discovery
Document and maintain case files
Facilitate the meeting of civil litigation deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely responses
Conduct legal research
Ability to capture billable time on each task contemporaneously, using proper language

Required

5+ years of recent defense litigation experience
Experience in general liability
Paralegal experience
Experience and knowledge of the preparation of discovery responses and objections
Summarization of medical and other types of records
Preparation of medical chronologies
Drafting subpoenas
Preparation of trial binders and exhibits
Ability to assist with large document production
Ability to utilize Adobe for electronic production issues
Proven ability to properly capture time and bill according to client guidelines
Typing speed must be at least 50 words per minute

Preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ATO, Lidify, UltiPro, ITimekeep
Experience in civil litigation with a history of capturing billable time
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification
