Interns will work alongside experienced engineers on various projects, focusing on land development, transportation, or water resources, and will engage in tasks such as geometric calculations, hydraulics calculations, and data collection.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Geometric calculations and plotting (cross-sections, profiles, etc.)
Routine hydraulics calculations
Site grading calculations and plotting
Computer and CAD systems usage
Research/data collection from public agencies
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in B.S. Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent plus appropriate continuing education
1-2 years of specific civil engineering classes and/or other internship related experience
Must have strong communication skills and be team-oriented
