Responsibilities
Provides full spectrum primary care
Develops and documents a plan of care for each patient, including a complete medical history, a physical examination, diagnosis of the causes of injuries and illnesses, appropriate treatment and/or referral, and hospital visitations when necessary
Adheres to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental and infection control standards
Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all federal and state health information privacy laws
Records complete, timely and legible medical records
Qualification
Required
MD or DO degree from fully-accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency trained in family medicine or internal medicine
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
