Mthreerecruitingportal is a large investment bank seeking a Support Analyst to join their Equity Production Management team. The role focuses on production support for algorithmic trading, including investigating user queries and managing system issues in line with ITIL best practices.

Responsibilities

Investigating user queries via database queries using raw SQL, log files and process interaction, e.g. order issues, flow breaks, booking issues

Responsible for notifying the business unit of system issues or failures and carrying out subsequent incident management and problem management in-line with ITIL best practice

Required to correct system break/fix and user recovery

Be comfortable escalating problems to core development and engineering groups in a timely manner

Proactive & reactive real-time monitoring of processes, connections & trade flows

Require to liaise with the Operations department and Controllers where appropriate

Working closely with regional counterparts to build and leverage tools and standardize monitoring procedures

Building tooling to optimize day to day operations
